2.This image shows the victor Japan taking it's prize Korea after defeating China in it's imperial conquest for Korea. The artist opinion is that Japan is a rude brute walking all over Korea in a sense that it's using Korea. You can tell this by the fact that Japan is walking all over the poor man and he is just giving up to Japan. My response it that of agreement with the author because I know that when a nation fought for a smaller nation, it was often to use that country for economic reasons or as a way to have more power. More land equaled more power.








This image here shows how England was involved in imperialism. It shows a British man grabbing up all the land possible. The artist's opinion is that England was an imperialistic monster for her drew him as a sea monster. He also thinks that England was incredibly greedy because he is taking so much and the fact that it's England alone in this picture, no other imperial nations. My response is that England was a major imperial nation, but I do not see them as a monster because they were only doing what was custom of the time. I mean sure they did some really bad and nasty things but it isn't the worse that's ever been done.
