6. One major uprising out of the several was in Japan. Well when Commodore Matthew Perry arrived and gave his gunboat diplomacy, the Shogun and the other Samurais greatly opposed this. They responded with lots of anti-foreign terrorism. Well the US, British, Dutch and French responded to that by wiping out many of their important forts. Later in 1867, there was a coalition led by samurais that seized control of the government with minimal bloodshed and returned the power back to the emperor, this was known as the Meiji Restoration. They then continued to fight the foreigners under a untied Japan by getting rid of their feudal system.

=======================================================================7. The April 6 Youth Movement.

A facebook movement supporting the workers of El-Mahalla El-Kubra, who were planing a strike on April 6. They asked people to stay home and wear black for the strike.

Leaders of this small rebellion are, Ahmed Maher, Mohammed Adel, Waleed Rashed and Asmaa Mahfouz.
Many of the followers and leaders were arrested sometimes more than once.

Over all this movement has not really gained anything meaning it has so far been unsuccessful.
