8. Spotlight- Suez Canal.


The Suez Canal, also called the highway to India, is very important as it serves as an important pathway from Europe to Asia or vise versa to transport goods. It is used every day by several ships transporting items back and forth. Since shipping goods is still very popular, it adds to the importance of this canal. Currently it is under Egypt's control of the Suez Canal Authority group under Admiral Ahmed Ali Fadel since 1996 to today.
